[Cwo] Writelog contest module support on CWops server?

CW OPEN sponsorship: I recently saw something about an offer by ICOM to sponsor CW OPEN. Have we made any decisions in that regard?

Writelog.com hosts the MMTTY install program and also "3rd party modules" from SM6SRW. However, they also use pointers for other modules from DC3HB and DL1EFD so it's a mixed bag.

Don't think anyone has asked W5XD if this could be hosted by Writelog.com I shall do that today. Worst case, they say no and we host it. I think the liability issue is extremely low. I'm more interested in having writelog.com host this because that's a natural place to go to get new contest modules. BTW, I'm no lawyer, but I don't think there's much difference between pointing to software and hosting it. These days if I sneeze, a guy in China blames me for his cold.

CYA I always say, especially when it comes to software!

I don't think we need to worry about that...but

we can write a disclaimer on the page that says:

The software for download is being hosted by Aurumtel. The host makes no
claims with regard to this software. Downloading and using this software
is done voluntarily and at the discretion of the person so doing. The host
assumes no responsibility for the operation of the software or any
consequences related to the software installation.

I don't think we need to do this, but it's here.
