Got to visit with Magnet a couple of times at Visalia pre-COVID. Was great
to share memories. Probably my biggest impression is driving up to
Contractor's point and seeing those two full-sized, three element beams
halfway up each of the poles there.
And then of course, the fun of calling his home number and asking his Mom
if Magnet Bells was there.
He had built up a pretty nice station of his own recently - see his QRZ
page.
RIP Magnet.
