After talking about having Barry Goldwater and Authur Godfrey in the
film This is Ham Radio, Dave (in the introduction) says this:

"When I made that film, I was introduced to this remarkable bunch of 
kids from the West Valley Amateur Radio Club.  Incidentily, what a 
concept, a radio club full of teenagers.  It could happen again, what
with the ARRL's big project going into schools all over the place.

Wouldn't that be great?

Anyway, back in 1970 or so, I decided what we needed was a film to get 
kids everywhere tuned into the idea of ham radio.  The ARRL agreed...
so sit back and watch the invasion of the teenagers in This is Ham Radio."
