[WVARC] Meeting Place

That A-frame was really something. I think most people could only tolerate
such an environment for an hour or two at a time. Maybe that was why we had
so many station nights as part of the meetings. And the station nights were
mostly outstanding as we got to look at each others equipment and antennas.
Also it seemed like we had a lot of lively and interesting discussions at
the members houses that might not have occurred at the meeting place.

Joe,
Is there a "Sheds are us" in Yorba Linda? Perhaps we can get a deal on an
A-frame with AC..

Did that building ever have air conditioning? Or we just now allowed to
turn it on? I remember it being awful hot during the summer.
Maybe driving across the Valley in a non-air conditioned 57 Chevy had
something to do with me being hot.

Wow, great work! The old film, the old call... Can anybody swing by the
Methodist church on Shoup and see if the A-frame building in the back is
still there and available for a meeting??
John
