Kenneth

The weekend if May 11th will be a problem for me as my 18 year old daughter
will be graduating from high school on May 11 (Mothers Day).

Any weekend after May 11 (May 17-18, May 24-25 or 31) will work for me. I
will not be able to attend before May 11th or the weekend before (May 3) as
I need to be in town to get ready for the graduation party.

If the event moves I will be attending and making it a family RV vacation to
Texas as the kids will be out of school.

Someone pointed out to me that Sunday, May 11, 2008 is Mother's Day.
Will this be a serious problem for any potential competitors? We are
constrained from moving the event earlier because of the toads and a charity
bicycling event that will take over the parks the weekend before, and
we are constrained from moving it to the fllowing weekend because it's
both the weekend of Dayton Hamvention and UT-Austin's graduation weekend
(which severely impacts hotel availability) and we're not anxious to move it

later than that both because of the potential for very high temperatures and

because there is a desire to know the results of the competition as early as

possible for Team USA selections for the World Championships in September.

If it is a real problem, I suggest that you bring mom with you to
Austin and show her a good time in Austin or San Antonio on Sunday
afternoon!
