[FQP] Fw: [ARRL-LOTW] Mobiles

If LoTW were required for roving in a state QSO party that would kill it for me.  I've been off and on LoTW twice since its inception and one little technical glitch has tossed me off of it more than once requiring a tremendous effort to get things back.  No more, I'm off.

As far as QSLing counties for the ones I have activated.... I have qsl'ed nearly 100% the old fashioned way for all requests to the best of my ability.  I enjoy doing it and feel it is part of the whole mobile endeavor (we all know the saying, "Job's not done until the paperwork is finished")  I find that most all include an MRC and SASE which is most helpful.  But even if they don't, I'm still willing to return a qsl request at my expense.  (let's not go overboard with this, guys, please  HI!)

So, that's my 2 cents (or rather 44 cents)  ...Marty / W4MY

It's not where you stand, but rather the direction you're heading.

I love to work QSOParties, cw mode.
But I get almost no LoTW qsl from any Rovers no matter how I enter their
calls.
I wish they would all submit as /M which would help a lot.

But they would still have to separate their logs by county and submit each
separately and changing the county for each log section.

Very few Rovers do that....I almost decided not to work Rovers at all.

The idea is to work counties, but the Rovers rarely ever give me a
confirmation.

I would love to see the State Party sponsors require proper LoTW submission
as a requirement. Or maybe offer extra points for submitting?

What do you QSOP guys think?
