Yes, a plaque is much easier to display.  I have a bunch of bowling trophies
(and a few ham radio ones) which are buried in a display nook in our living
room which is difficult to see.  My plaques are on the wall in my shack for
me to enjoy (and my visitors, too).

Use the flat fee boxes at the Post Office with a little bubble wrap.  Works
great.

Trophies are fragile and much harder to wrap and pack.  More expensive to
mail.

Plaques can be hung on the wall.  Trophies get dusty in the closet.
