[Cwo] 2014 Summary Before Voting

It seems to be coming down to a choice of avoiding the JA hamfest or
avoiding NA Sprint.

Participation in the first two CWOs were mainly NA hams with a small
spattering of EU and hardly any AS or SA.
This year, it seems EU and AS participation was way up, which is wonderful.
The JA increase is probably due to K6RBs' trip to the last Tokyo hamfest.

Question: Do we want to continue to expand into a worldwide competition or
narrow it to NA? (or NA + EU)?

We'll upset some folks either way, the NA Sprinters will be more vocal.
That said, I would still lean toward 6 Sept to keep the JA population
growing and use 23 Aug as additional JA publicity at the Tokyo Ham Fair
like K6RB did this year.

that's my 2c worth ...
