[Cwo] Wednesday OOVOO video conference

I have heard back from Alan, Pete and Hank. It looks like this Wednesday, at 0200Z, will be a good time to collude. I have Pete and Hank showing up on my OOVOO, so no problem calling them in. Alan, AD6E, you need to get set up, too. Call me if you have any questions. It’s pretty easy. You download and register for the free version of OOVOO. Then, you pick a screen name (e.g. Alan AD6E). Then, go to ‘contacts,’ and ‘add friends,’ and ‘search on OOVOO,’ and select ‘k6rb_rob.’

You’ll need a wideband Internet, a computer, and a cheapo webcam (unless it’s built in).

I’ll call everyone in on Wednesday around 0200Z and assemble the conference. We’ll discuss the points I brought up and anything else related to CW Open. We need to think about any changes, now, well before we start publicizing. I also think we need to decide what ‘success’ looks like. 500 logs submitted? 1000 logs?
Participation of at least 100 from each of the three regions? If we know what we’re shooting for, it will help us with the strategy and tactics.
