Subject: [Cwo] CWO results are out

Hi guys,

The results for the Sept CW OPEN contest are published here:
http://cwops.org/cwo2012-final.html

For next year we have a bit of a problem.
The first weekend in Sept 2013 is split between Aug and Sept .. Sept 1 is a
Sunday.
There seems to be very little published activity on that weekend, so I
suggest we go for that in 2013: Aug 31-Sept 1

I have not done any extensive research, but the BNM calendar looks like
this:

Both weekends have problems:
I don't know how big the YO DX contest is, but I'd hate to cross blades with
another EU contest. (Sept 1) However, it may be possible to "cross
fertilize" by allowing YO DX QSOs in CWO. Their exchange is 599 + serial
number.
I think the RTTY contest is significantly large (Sept 1). There seems no
way to compromise there.

I do know how big the NA Sprint is here in NA (Sept 8). That may not be a
problem for EU, but it would squeeze in between Sessions 2 and 3 .. and thus
be a drag on both.

What do you think?
