I really feel like
we're going to get a good turnout. If even a quarter of the 300 JA
contesters I invited show up for session 1, it will be fabulous. And, it
will ensure that they are active in the later sessions, too. EU looks like
it is opening and clicking on the rules URL, so that could be a really
good thing if they all jump in at 1200Z.

Send everybody a
free popsicle if they participate? You can only do so much, and hams are a
recalcitrant group generally.

We are getting a good number of email "opens" and
"clicks" with NO unsubscribes. That bodes well. We also have no
conflicts that weekend. So...if we don't get a solid turnout, I'm not sure
what more I could have done.

So far only one team has signed up for the team competition: The Keys ..
with some very interesting members :-)

We need more teams. Hope this email blast will drum up more support.
