We have an interesting rules question. See below.

Can a "contest station" like N6RO be on a team when the operator is
different for the different sessions? For example;   K3EST at N6RO for session
1,  K6AW at N6RO for session 2, N6RO at N6RO for session 3

They all use the N6RO call.  They are all S/O in each session.
N6RO gets the total of all three for their team.

Side question: What happens to the "Combined" score table?  It could still
be individual scores, does not have to be combined implying M/S. That is;
K3EST at N6RO has his total score of just session 1, N6RO has his total
combined score of just session 3.

This does make things a bit more complicated, but its manageable.

Another asside:  I've already told N6WM he can operate from three different
QTHs for the three sessions if he uses his call at all three sites. One of
them might be N6RO, but if so, that cannot count double in the team scoring.

Let me put my three cents in here:
I've  been an active in the Wednesday CWTs since the start, and support the
new OPEN contest.
Unfortunately on weekends, I work, managing an active jazz band, employing
seven other professional musicians.
This weekend I cannot operate the first two segments of CWO since I have a
gig on Saturday, but can do the last segment.

Another slant on team competition, two or three ops from the same station?
 Looks like Chris wants to do one from N6RO, or all three?- fine with me.
Maybe we could get K3EST to do the 5-9AM segment, since he will be at RO
prior to that doing the Lighthouse IOTA thing.
Or,  Iain or Steve for one of the two first segments.  Or ...........

Since this is a first, why not consider any kind of team competition, with
different ops at the same station; same op at different
stations......................**.

I think this CWO is a great drill for SO2R, since at least two bands should
be open in each segment (It works for me in CWT- I've won five of the last
six at 03Z)

So toss this about and see what falls out!
