[ARDF] USA Championships: Southern California airports?

Is there any recommendation for what airports might be good for the Mt.
Laguna events? I'm assuming San Diego is the closest, but I have heard it
might be cheaper to fly into Orange County John Wayne or one of the other
LA airports. Is there any local knowledge about this?
