To all,

The last hunt was on September 19 and being the first to find the fox would
like to propose that the next hunt be held on Saturday morning October 24.
To vary the search area would like to move to The Burlington Repeater on
146.715.
The boundary will still be a 10 mile radius except from the Burlington
Repeater Site.
The fox transmissions will be clear through the repeater (on the 146.715
repeater output, though the fox will be transmitting on 146.115 MHz).

If MMRA will publicize this on the MMRA.org web page, the "fox" will hide
Saturday morning (October 24th) and start transmissions at 10 AM.
Fox transmissions will be 30 seconds long each, and will occur every five
minutes (10:00am, 10:05am, 10:10am, etc.).

The fox will be in a location where the public is obviously welcome. There
will be no need to trespass to find the fox.

The hunt will last until 12, unless found by all hunters. Will continue
after 12 if needed and hunters are still out looking.
Anyone who wants hints after 12:00 noon should ask for them (on the
repeater).

As in previous hunts and if there is an interest we will all go get lunch
together.

Would also like to thank the MMRA for hosting these hunts. In addition, the
invitation to other clubs has been well recieved. These have been fun events
and great opportunity for various clubs members to met a few new faces.

Will send another e-mail out the middle of next week to confirm the hunt is
on.
Any questions let me know.
