He doesn't say much about the crystal. You probably need something 18 - 
24 mhz. You probably can't adjust it much with C7. If you have to get 
crystals cut that could be expensive. Divide the frequency you want by 
the numbers in the table and try to find a stock crystal that is close.

Also try finding that ICS501 in a dip package - that might be tough - or 
even finding it at all.
