I only operated the 1969 with WVARC but it was a blast. I operated the 20CW/80SSB with UHF and I think SST and CSN. There might have been others. The transmitter was WB6UHF's Johnson Ranger, I believe. I brought a 20 Meter monoband beam which worked great. I wasn't back on the air again until around 1980 when I bought a Hallicrafters SR-150 from my friend WA6URY. From about 1981 - 1998 I was very active DXing. I got a TS-820s in 1982 and the Henry 2k a few years later. I had neighbors turn me into the FCC on multiple occasions! The FCC just sent out a CB notice that said stop using an amplifier with my CB.</div><div class="ydpa920d3c6signature" dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div class="ydpa920d3c6signature" dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">I dropped the WB6YNI call for W6YR in 1996.
