Fabulous. These FD operations -- WB6OLD/6 in 66,=20
WB6SST/6 in 67, and W6CXW/6 in 67, were major
learning experiences for the early core of the WVARC
FD operations. From WB6NWK I learned the value=20
of a high pitched voice in phone contesting at=20
W6CXW/6, and the choice of operating sites for
W6CXW/6 (a vacant lot on a hill above NWK's home)
was the prototype for the next several years of=20
WA6LXN/6 sites.
