I think I will send him a letter this weekend and ask very nicely. Having a
piece of paper sitting on his desk may help him. He can even send it to me
Fed-Ex and I will give him my Fed-Ex number so he won't have to pay. I sure
would hate to never see that film again. It was probably the last time Matt
used a Microphone. The last conversation I had with him I spoke into the
telephone and he just tapped his index finger on the table in answer.

I always see W6AQ at the Visalia DX Convention, and for
several years I told him how Matt would love to have a copy
of that film.
Dave was always agreeable, saying he has it somewhere, but
he never followed through, despite two or three requests.
My guess is that someone needs to go over to his "vault" to
help him look for it.
But now that we have a "group" of people who are
interested, it might motivate him even further. I guess I
could try asking one more time (but I think Dave is tired
of this by now).
