<p>Our speaker, Dr. Dave Johnston, will introduce you to many of the bats<br>
found in the Santa Cruz Mountains and describe how vital they are to our general<br>
ecology. He will talk about the issues bat populations face today here in the Bay<br>
Area and in North America.</p>
<p>Dr. Johnston will discuss how to attract bats to vineyards and learn about the many<br>
pest species that bats consume in agricultural settings. Dave will also introduce the<br>
audience to some of the more unusual bats found around the world.</p>
