comprehensive
fertility
program for
wine grapes,
including
sample
interpretation,
application
methods,
timing, rates,
etc., forms of
common
fertilizers
(conventional
and organic),
the importance
of nutrient
balance, etc.
The
presentation
details the
nutritional
needs of the
vines at key
stages:
budbreak,
pre-bloom,
bloom, berry
development,
veraison, and
post-harvest.
This is a
2-hour
presentation,
and he ends
with a
discussion of
organics. <br>

Paul is an
agronomist
&
viticulturist
with over 26
years
experience
working in and
consulting for
vineyards from
Santa Barbara
to Napa,
including
managing 900
acres of wine
grapes in Paso
Robles, and is
currently the
Agronomy-Organics Manager for the Western U.S. for Helena
Agri-Enterprises. <i>More

working for

Agri-Enterprises since the end of 2013 in various roles, currently
serving as the
AGRIntelligence-Agronomy-Organics Manager for the Western US.<span
style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>He leads the Agronomy and Agriculture
Technology
business along
with Helena’s
Organic
efforts across
10 States in
the Western
US.<span
style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>His team of 16 Agronomists &
AGRIntelligence
Technicians
support
Helena’s sales
group on
everything
from mapping
to nutrient
budgets to
irrigation
scheduling.<span
style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>His areas of expertise include plant
nutrition,
soil-plant-water
relations,
organic
systems and
pest

Certified Crop
Advisor (CCA)
with Nitrogen

years, Paul
has consulted
for vineyard
properties
