We have a small vineyard in Saratoga/Santa Cruz Mountains and through our years of caring for our vineyard we have to come to really appreciate what you all do to maintain a vineyard and make great wine. </div>

Our story is that we purchased our home is 2004 and it came with an already established vineyard and producing amazing wine under the name Lonen Wines. I remember at the time; it was selling at $79. a bottle at the local specialty Jean's Market in Saratoga.</div>

We loved the home but knew nothing about vineyard or wine! And in 2005 it was disastrous and we lost all of crop because of the poor attendance of the company who was to maintain the vineyard. We were devastated and helpless so we reached out to a dozen local
wine makers asking for guidance and help and one responded to us. 🙂</div>

Jeffery Patterson of Mt Eden saw our letter and came and visited our vineyard. He said under one condition I will help you: you need to learn more about the care of the vineyard yourself. Jeffery and Carmine Indindoli (who knew the vineyard well with the
previous owners) spent the time and taught us great lessons about maintenance of the vineyard. In 2006 My husband Mo and I did everything from pruning to spraying, etc. Jeffery Patterson was truly our savior. From that year to 2019 he gracefully made our
own wine and took some as his share to make his own blends. His business grew so much since and we used our wine to give to friends and clients. Thank you, Jeff, we are forever grateful. (By the way, in 2023 we entered 2006 vintage in competition and won
a Silver Medal.)</div>

We have since hired great professional maintenance companies for the vineyard such as for the last few years, Coastal vineyard management. </div>

In 2023 we entered multiple years of our wine in Contra Costa Wine Competition and also in Orange County Wine competition in 2023. In all three entry years, our Estate Wine without a mix made by Mt Eden Winery has won<u> Multiple Silver Medals.</u></div>
