VASCM: Nebbiolo grapes available

Hi Everyone,

Our Nebbiolo yields are looking good this year, so I’ll have 2-3 tons available for anyone interested in adding an Italian varietal to their mix.

These grapes have won Best of Class in the SF Chronicle Wine Competition (3 times), and awarded 94 points and Editor’s Choice awards from Wine Enthusiast (twice). These grapes are grown in organically farmed vineyards atop the Santa Cruz Mountains (2600 ft. elevation). Vines are a mix of two Lampia clones (CVT 142 and 230) on 420A rootstock trained in the traditional Italian arched Guyot style. This fruit and vineyard are ideal for the winemaker looking to make an award winning California "Barolo" style wine.
