Hello, everyone:

Harvest has started in the Santa Cruz Mountains for some. Others are in 
a waiting pattern.  If you are seeking SCM fruit, check out the Buy/Sell 
Exchange listing here <http://www.vascm.org/buysell-exchange/>. I 
believe that all the email posts for fruit available this year are on 
the web page, but if you sent a message and you don't see it on the 
website please let me know and I'll add it. Please also let me know if 
you have sold your fruit so I can update the online listing.

There has been some discussion recently about the use of our list for 
fruit outside of the appellation. Please note and be reminded that the 
published purpose of the Exchange is as follows:

*The Buy/Sell Exchange*, created by the Viticulture Assn. of the Santa 
Cruz Mountains (VASCM) in 2004, connects winemakers and growers for the 
purpose of selling*Santa Cruz Mountains appellation grapes*and other 
related products and services.

This is, after all, the _Viticulture Assn. of the Santa Cruz Mountains_ 
and our purpose is to support and help our growers (not those in Napa or 
Sonoma or anywhere else). Therefore, let us please not use this list for 
fruit from outside of the appellation. And let us please also retire the 
thread on this issue. If you have some comments to make you can email me 
privately at mary at munsvineyard.com.
