Hello, everyone:

We are still planning on proceeding with the meeting this Thursday. 
Tomorrow's storm is supposed to pass through by end of day, with some 
showers on Wednesday and clearing by Thursday. So barring power outages 
or road closures getting to Skyline we plan on going ahead with this 
meeting (fingers crossed). We will meet in the barn, so we'll stay dry. 
You might bring an umbrella, though, just in case.

The meeting will include a presentation on Vine Trunk Disease and 
pruning sealant with Alan Haack, SePRO Ag, makers of the biofungicide 
Bio-Tam. And we'll have a demo of its application. We'll also talk about 
ways to mitigate frost damage. And view a variety of training systems in 
use at Ascona. Thank you to Ken Swegles for hosting.

*-  Please bring your own chair.* We will be in a barn for the 
presentation (and out of the weather if it's rainy). *

>From Hwy. 17:
- take the Bear Creek Rd. exit at Lexington Reservoir
- come off the exit ramp,*pass Bear Creek Rd. and make a left onto Black 
Rd*.
- follow Black Rd. all the way to the top where it dead ends at Skyline; 
make a left on Skyline
- Ascona Vineyard will be on the left in about half a mile - look for 
the gate
