Hello, everyone:

We are going to try again to schedule this meeting (originally scheduled 
for last week). We had considered rescheduling for this last Tuesday, so 
it's a good thing we waited because Mother Nature had her own plans for 
the day. And, although more rain and wind are coming in early next week, 
by Thursday it is supposed to have cleared up and looks like we should 
be able to proceed (with no cyclone, no deluge).

The meeting will include a presentation on Vine Trunk Disease and 
pruning sealant with Alan Haack, SePRO Ag, makers of the biofungicide 
Bio-Tam. And we'll have a demo of its application. We'll also talk about 
ways to mitigate frost damage. And view a variety of training systems in 
use at Ascona. Thank you to Ken Swegles for hosting.

*-  Please bring your own chair.* We will be in a barn for the 
presentation (and out of the weather if it's rainy). *

appetizers to go with.

>From Hwy. 17:
- take the Bear Creek Rd. exit at Lexington Reservoir
- come off the exit ramp, pass Bear Creek Rd. and make a left onto Black 
Rd.
- follow Black Rd. all the way to the top where it dead ends at Skyline; 
make a left on Skyline
- Ascona Vineyard will be on the left in about half a mile - look for 
the gate
