We use Weatherstations that have evapotranspiration data to estimate water use.  The best source of this type of data is from the CIMIS weather station network operated by the department of water resources.   You can also choose to use spatial CIMIS which fills in gaps with satellite estimates of ET

We are working on improving the organic amendment mineralization module that should have many more amendment options
