Hi Micheal,
If SO2 gas isn’t available you can use the old fashioned sulfur wicks and
burn them in your barrels. Yes it’s a little more work but the beauty is
that in the burn process they consume additional oxygen in the barrel.
If the bungs are tightly put on after it will conserve the barrel for two
months if not longer.
