Good Afternoon,
I'm curious what winemakers are using for preserving empty cooperage in
our area? We've been using SO2 gas, but I've found that many local gas
suppliers (airgas, matheson) are simply refusing to supply it anymore:
- Are you using SO2 gas? If yes, who is your supplier?
- Are you using Ozone Gas?
- What type of ozone unit do you use?
- what is the rate of flow of ozone gas you're using?
- how much time do you spend ozoning each barrel?
- How frequently are you ozone gassing barrels? (once/month,
once/week)?
