Hello, everyone:

It's been awhile since we've had a meeting, online or in person. But 
we'd like to start this new year with renewed intent for a year of some 
great viticulture programs - starting with this one with Fritz Westover, 
Virtual Viticulture Academy (VVA). We've done a couple of online 
programs with Fritz as well as an in person workshop over the past few 
years.  This program will focus on preparing for the upcoming vintage, 
including a pruning refresher. And, we were going to talk about the 
impact of drought, but that's no longer an issue for us at the moment, 
so Fritz will address the impact of heavy rains such as we are having 
now. And he will also talk about adapting your practices anticipating 
heat waves, such as we experienced last year, and in prior years, at 
harvest time. This program will be packed with valuable practical advice 
that you can apply in your vineyards. /There is no charge for this 
program (it is being covered by the VASCM). /
