VASCM: Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Training Program

Hey all of you who are 02 Winegrowers,
An associate contacted the CA ABC today and was told that the new Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Training Program and its training and certification are required for “anyone pouring a drink” (I’m getting this third hand, so I guess we can assume this relates to a pourer that is selling alcohol). If that’s true, all of us 02 winegrowers are responsible for getting ourselves and anyone else pouring for us certified. 

Has anyone here gotten that same interpretation of the new law? Have you taken the training? Any recommendations?
