David Gates, senior vice president of vineyard operations at Ridge, 
shares his expertise in the use of beneficial insects for biocontrol in

David Gates is in charge of 320 acres of estate winegrape production in 
Sonoma and 140 acres in the Santa Cruz Mountains. After the last 40 
acres get certified this year, all Ridge's estate vineyards will
