VASCM: Requesting Your Input on Topics for Future Meetings

**Hello, everyone:

We would like to hear your input on topics for future meetings. We have 
compiled a list below that you can refer to, and please give us your top 
3-5 priorities. Or if you don't see something you want to hear about on 
the list, let us know what that is, too. Our recent meetings (since 
August) have addressed soil health with regenerative viticulture and on 
composting, and meetings on weed management and on smoke taint.

We are planning to have a meeting in May and additional meetings through 
the summer, and this will help us schedule meetings on topics you want 
to hear about - through the end of the year. See the list below!

*Here is a list of potential topics we have come up with for future 
meetings, but you can suggest something else if you don't see it on the 
list.* Please reply to this message with up to 5 of your priorities, and 
any additional comments you might have:


- Pre-bloom canopy management & vine training, shoot thinning
- Assessing nutrition needs, including blade and petiole sampling
- Composting, including analysis and rate calculator
- Identifying leaf symptoms: veraison to harvest
- Pre-harvest management priorities
- Irrigation: early season, deficit, and drought issues
- Foliar fertilizer programs/fertigation
- IPM: gophers, insect pests, owl box workshop and raptor perches
- Disease management: including Pierces, vine trunk diseases eg. esca, 
eutypa, botryosphaeria, phomopsis
- More soil health, including no-till
- Smoke/crop insurance
- Biological sprays
- Promoting vineyard resilience
