I’m in the camp with Clark Smith that adverse effects come from cresols. We’re using a backpack blower ahead of the pickers.

Thanks,
Bill

Hi all,

There is a noticeable coating of ash on my Chardonnay grapes this year. I was thinking of spraying them with clean water a day or so before harvesting hoping to rinse some of it off before crushing.

All comments are appreciated.

Thanks
