Hello, everyone:
This is a heartbreaking time for all of us in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
Some of our growers and winemakers have had to evacuate. Some have lost
their wineries, and this year's crop. Our hearts go out to everyone
affected.
We all are probably wondering about the effects of the pervasive
wildfire smoke on our ripening fruit. CAWG (California Assn. of
Winegrape Growers) is holding *a webinar this Wednesday, 9:30am on
**Wildfire Smoke Exposure:* this is an in-depth look at what smoke
exposure may mean for your crop and how to manage the risks you may
encounter. There is no charge, and it is available to everyone in the
industry (you do not need to be a CAWG member). See the Agenda and
Registration link below.
Please everyone, be and stay safe.
