VASCM: Sad News Regarding the Benedettis

Hello, everyone:

It is with great sadness that I share with you all that Melanie 
Benedetti, John Benedetti's wife, passed away yesterday morning from 
Stage 4 lung cancer. She was diagnosed on July 8 and has been in the 
hospital since. John has been sharing on Facebook the shocking news and 
rapidly progressing developments and some of you may already be aware.

A group of friends helped during this tragic time to open the 
Benedetti's new Santa Arcangeli tasting room in Aptos about 10 days ago.
