VASCM: Santa Cruz Mountain Cabernet

We are Harrieth and Peter Wagner, members of VASCM, and our 4 acre vineyard is called Ormsby Trail Vineyard (ormsbytrailvineyard.com). It is situated on Ormsby Cutoff, 2500ft up in the southern part of the Santa Cruz mountains, in full sun and above the marine layer. We have been successfully growing Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon since 2014 under the close and continuing guidance of Prudy Foxx.

We are not winemakers, and our grapes have been going to both Wrights Station and Griffin Hill wineries. Now that we are nearing full production, we may in 2019 have more Cabernet than Dan Lokteff and Jeff Griffin need. Dan and Jeff have the 2017 and 2018 Cabernet in barrels presently.

We write to indicate that we will in all probability have a couple of tons of Cabernet available for sale and would be delighted to discuss this with you.
