VASCM: Feb. 20 UC Davis On the Road Program in the SC Mts.-- New Topic on Phenolics in Red Wine

Hello, everyone:

There has been a change to the agenda for the Feb. 20 program with UC 
Davis:  We are fortunate to have David Block, Professor and Chair of the 
Viticulture and Enology Dept. speak to /Optimizing Phenolic Extraction 
in Red Wines/. This adds a winemaking component to the program, as well 
as Anita Oberholster talking about the effect of Red Blotch in the 
vineyard and the winery. David Block's presentation replaces Kaan 
Kurtural (/Leaf Removal, Trellising and Viticultural Impacts on 
Flavor/), who is unable to participate this time after all. Maybe we can 
get him here to speak to us at a later date. See the official agenda
