Hi All,
We have the Clemens. Ours works on hillsides and on side hills. We can adjust (while driving) the width of rows and the angle of the blade. They sell single and double sided attachments. We have plant spacing between 2 and 5 feet. It works great with all spacing.

It takes a bit to get the hang of it. Once you do it is amazing. We go between 5-7 MPH. Se attached before and after pictures.
Cheers,

i am using a weedbadger ] as mechanical solution [ see http://chateauhetsakais.com/tilling-moving-covercrop/ ] . it would work on the hill-side but would loosen up the soil too much i fear it erosion would move it downhill.till

Thanks Karen and Peter, and my apologies for the confusion with my “but does it work on the slopes” question.  That was in response to a youtube link that Ryan had shared about a pretty nifty PTO attachment to the tractor (made by VineTech Equipment) that will take care of the problem ... though Im not so sure it will work on the steeper slopes, given the angles involved.

Thanks again for everyone’s input!Eug Theron

We’ve had both sprayed on our vineyard and Weed Slayer far exceeded Suppress.  I don’t know how our slope compares to yours, but it worked where ever it was sprayed.

Our two cents: Suppress is VERY expensive, works on any slope as far as I know (just sprayed on the weeds), produces yellowing/wilting quickly in 24-36 hours, but does NOTHING to the roots, so the weeds come back in a week or four better than ever.

Is that any of what you were asking?

Green Valley Ag Supply has Suppress but not Weed Slayer; I'm also interested in hearing where to buy the latter locally.

Hi VASCM,

Does anyone know where I could buy organic herbicides, such as Weed Slayer or Suppress?

This might be discussed at the January meeting, but I'm not sure I'll be able to attend, and I need to get ahead of my weeds this winter.

Thanks for your help!
