VASCM: Recommendation on pH Meter

It depends on whether you want a handheld or desktop one, and as always,
how much money you want to spend :-)

I like the Hanna Instruments meters (they make pH, Brix, TA, and all sort
of meters). I have a couple of the PHEP 5 handheld ones - $98
https://hannainst.com/hi98128-phep-ph-tester.html?gclid=Cj0KCQiA6dLgBRDoARIsAJgoM4ubd0Zsp9ybk6mfiBhvn797IaWlV4DdSdQW02GNWDzgCz-1N8gX29IaAvWSEALw_wcB

These only do 2 point calibration (4 and 7 pH), 0.05pH accuracy with
automatic temperature compensation.

If you want more accuracy, then a desktop model is what I’ll eventually
buy. Hanna makes their Edge model - $409
https://hannainst.com/edge-multiparameter-ph-meter.html

These support up to 5 point calibration, 0.01pH accuracy

Then there are ones that do automatic titration, but those get to be twice
as expensive.

I’d also be interested in what other people use, especially for desktop
models.

Good luck, —Mark
