Sue Slater at Cabrillo College is offering two exceptional wine classes
this Fall, and these are open to everyone interested to attend:

*Wine Faults*:  explores common faults and problems found in wine
through sensory evaluation and discussion. This is a hybrid online class
taught by Deborah Parker Wong. Students meet at the beginning of the
class series on Wed., Aug. 29 to get the kit to sully the wines, and
then again in December to take the practical final. In between those
meetings the classes are taught by Parker Wong online with the Zoom
platform, which is like Skype except that she can record the lecture in
case you miss it. You'll learn about common wine faults, what went
wrong, and in some cases how to correct them. You can read more about
Deborah Parker Wong and this Cabrillo class on a wine blog by Jo Diaz
here
<http://www.wine-blog.org/index.php/2018/08/01/hybrid-wine-faults-class-debuts-at-cabrillo-college/>,
and a brief bio below.

*French Wines*:  a detailed exploration of French wines through tastings
and lectures, including viniculture, wine laws, sensory evaluation.
Tuesdays, from 6-9. It starts on August 28, and goes until mid-December.

Must be 21 for both, and materials fees apply to both.
