VASCM: VASCM Holiday Party Dec. 2 - RSVP extended to this Friday

Hi, everyone:

The deadline to RSVP and send in your payment for this year's holiday 
party on Dec. 2 has been extended to this Friday. Enjoy an evening at 
the Sesnon House, share the holiday spirit and celebrate the 2017 vintage!

For those not aware, the Sesnon House is a training ground for the 
students of the culinary arts program at Cabrillo College. This dinner 
is part of their final grade for the semester. The students will be 
preparing the meal and serving us, and we always enjoy meeting and 
encouraging them in their endeavor.

The thoroughly delicious menu (and a bargain at $35/person):

*Passed Hors **d’œuvres*
**Roasted Mushroom Caps with Italian Sausage and Spinach Filling (& 
vegetarian option)
Fuyu Persimmons and Blue Cheese Wrapped with Prosciutto

**Appetizer*
     Black Pepper and Parmesan Savory Panna Cotta with Basil, Cherry 
Tomato and Balsamic Reduction**

*Main Course *
     Braised Lamb Shank with Gremolata, Gnocchi and Root Vegetables OR
Cioppino with Shrimp, Mussels and Seasonal Fish in Rich Tomato White 
Wine Stew served with Grilled Bread OR
Wild Mushroom Ravioli with Ricotta and Mushroom Filling, Leeks and 
Alfredo Sauce

Tiramisu – Classic Italian Dessert of Mascarpone Mousse with Espresso 
Soaked Lady Finger
