VASCM: Fw: Support for Two Cooperative Extension Positions

Hi VASCM,UC Davis is asking in the below email for some help from growers and wine makers to justify some more Cooperative Extension positions.  It would be good for us if they were able to get the positions filled, as it would make  it a bit easier to get expertise and advice when we need it.

These include one on the Enology side and one on the Viticulture side.  We are looking for people  to go online and voice their support electronically for either or both of these proposals.  Support for these positions from people like you will be strongly considered by UC ANR in choosing which positions to fill.    We feel that both of these positions will significantly strengthen our extension continuum from farm advisor to CE Specialist to on-campus faculty positions.  We hope you will go online right away and voice your support.  The public comment period for these positions will close on July 11, 2016.    1)  For the CE position in Enology, please follow the link below.  It is for a CE Specialist with microbiology expertise to complement our current expertise in wine chemistry.
