VASCM: Using Pre-Emergent in The Vineyard

Hi VASCM,In our effort to eliminate the invasive Yellow Star Thistle from our vineyard, I am considering adding pre-emergent to the mix of measures we're taking.  It's my understanding that there are products registered for use in vineyards.  A PCA that I spoke to mentioned that Chateau is a good product.
If pre-emergents will help move the effort along and help reduce our use of post-emergents, I see this as good for the vineyard.  However, it would be great to hear from those who have used them and any recommendations that you have.  Any negative impacts?  Brand and usage that you found worked? Etc.
