VASCM: Advice Welcomed on Bonding and Licensing

The advice I give anyone thinking about it is use a compliance company.  I've used and recommended Compli :
http://www.compli-beverage.com/  We've just redone the process - moving from a bond we managed in Woodside to our own in Salinas and then a duplicate for a tasting room.  The ttb process is taking over 6 months right now and ours took 9 months when ttb lost all the original paperwork.  My Compli person just dealt with all of that.  You can of course do it on your own, but I've seen people get so frustrated they actually give up or it takes years.

Subject: VASCM: Advice Welcomed on Bonding and Licensing

Hi Folks,We've decided to take the plunge and apply for (re)licensing and bond for Noble Hill (the winery had been a 5,000 case bonded facility sometime in the past).  As we look over the forms and information and think about how many of our peers at VASCM have gone through this process, we thought it would be a very good idea to ask for advice from you.  Do you have pitfalls to avoid, tools you found helpful and/or other advice for us?
As always, your help and guidance is greatly appreciated!
