VASCM: Budbreak Report

Woodruff Family Vineyard has begun budbreak in the pinot.  Our Chardonnay is half way through budbreak and already pruned.  Our Gewurztraminer was through budbreak last week and is pruned.  We're at 400' with a Southern exposure, some shading during the winter.

It appears that budbreak has started in some of our mountain vineyards, 
as of a week or even two ago. I don't know if these are isolated or 
circumstantial exceptions, but looks like we are off to an early start. 
I am curious, and I think others might be as well to hear who has been 
experiencing budbreak, if you want to weigh in with your budbreak status.
