VASCM: Budbreak Report

Hi All,
Budbreak started last week.  We're on a south facing hillside at 1600 ft. above Scotts Valley.  Wanted to wait out the rains to prune, but maybe not.

It appears that budbreak has started in some of our mountain vineyards, 
as of a week or even two ago. I don't know if these are isolated or 
circumstantial exceptions, but looks like we are off to an early start. 
I am curious, and I think others might be as well to hear who has been 
experiencing budbreak, if you want to weigh in with your budbreak status.
