VASCM: EQIP Applications for NRCS Funding Due Nov. 15

For anyone interested in applying to the NRCS for cost-share funding for 
conservation projects, the deadline is Nov. 15. Attached is the application.

Numerous VASCM members have received funding under the Environmental 
Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) for projects including rainwater 
collection systems; hedgerows; ponds, etc.

You can find general information on EQIP at www.ca.nrcs.usda.gov . Click 
on 'Farm Bill' under the 'Programs' tab at the top of the page. Then 
under 'Financial Assistance' you will find the details about 
Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP). Interested applicants 
are encouraged to request conservation planning and technical assistance 
from a local NRCS field office to help with the development of a 
conservation plan. A conservation plan is the basis for an EQIP application.
