VASCM: yellow jackets

Just a thought...A few years ago, I had a big underground yellow jacket nest at home (not in vineyards) and what worked for me was a 5 gallon bucket and two pressurized household bug bombs (I think they were for flees?). I set-off the bombs by the entry point, placed the 5 gallon bucket upside down and sealed around the base with dirt forcing the gas into the ground. Next day, the yellow jackets were all dead. I dug into the nest to investigate. It was an amazing nest of passages that seemed very much like corrugated cardboard.
