VASCM: Powdery Mildew

You will need to obtain an Operator ID from the County Agricultural Commissioner to buy this material. You can get a home use paper from them if  you don't intend to sell your grapes but this is very limiting and not everything is available to you especially, ironically, many of the quality organic products.

It is not a big deal.  Call for an appointment.  It is important to know in advance whether you will use employees to spray or spray yourself.  This will determine whether you need to "take the private applicators Certificate" test or not (the other criteria is if you use restricted materials but none you have listed are restricted).

Getting the PAC is a big deal because it will require that you get certified hours (not many, only 6 in 2 or 3 years) but sometimes it turns into a hassle you don't need and the test is not really designed for the low end use in private vineyards.  Especially if you don't use employees to spray.
