VASCM: Harvest Starting in the Santa Cruz Mts.

We will be harvesting tomorrow at Muns Vineyard - a block with shallow 
soils. Then anticipate picking some more next week.

The earliest we harvested before was starting Aug. 29 in 2008, a drought 
year, and that year had very low yields (as did vineyards throughout the 
state). This year, though, we had practically our full annual rainfall 
at the end of last year; only a few inches since. Great cropload this 
year (as others are reporting, too).
